When and where is Zcon7?
Zcon7 will be held in person at an all-inclusive resort in Cancún, Mexico from Tuesday, Oct 27- Thursday, Oct 29, 2026 with evening events the 27th and 28th. DO NOT BOOK FLIGHTS UNTIL WE OFFICIALLY ACCEPT YOUR REQUEST TO ATTEND. Once accepted, we recommend arriving on Monday, Oct 26th and planning to stay the night of Thursday, Oct 29th (4 nights). If we accept your request to attend, we will share the link and instructions on how to make your reservation. Due to resort regulations, guests who do not book using the group link and book directly through the hotel or a third-party vendor will not receive a conference wristband and will be unable to participate in the conference and events.
Zcon7 will be an in-person only event; there will not be an official livestream or virtual attendee registration. Hosting the event in person allows for more interactive sessions, deeper real-time discussions, and stronger opportunities for hands-on collaboration, and we encourage our community podcasters to share highlights with the greater community throughout the event.
Once I submit this form, am I registered to attend Zcon7?

How do I apply to present at Zcon7? If I am a presenter should I still fill out this form?Due to limited speaking slots, we are NOT accepting speaker applications. If we have invited you to speak at Zcon7, you do not need to fill out this form - we collected all the information we need in the Speaker Information Form.
What is the timeline for registration and what are the costs?
This application to attend will remain open until space is full - space is VERY limited.
There is absolutely no cost for the conference ticket. We want Zcon to remain accessible to everyone in the community, and not charging a ticket fee is central to that commitment. Please keep in mind that submitting the form is an application to attend, rather than a confirmed registration. Because event capacity is limited, ZF will begin reviewing applications in July, so we ask that you hold off on booking any flights until you receive an official acceptance email.

Are there scholarships/financial assistance to attend Zcon7 available? What is the criteria? How do I apply?
Yes! Privacy-preserving technology requires developers and community members with both talent and passion. The Zcash Foundation supports future privacy leaders who are working towards a career in the financial privacy ecosystem and community members who need financial support.
The deadline to apply for a scholarship has passed and we are no longer accepting applications.
What is included when you book your stay at the Zcon All-Inclusive resort?
*Attendees are responsible for booking their own flights and accommodation at the conference's all-inclusive resort venue. If your application is accepted, ZF will email you hotel booking instructions and the official group booking link starting in July. Space at the resort is limited, so we strongly recommend booking your room as soon as possible after receiving your acceptance email. Please note that your registration is not considered complete until you reserve your accommodation through the official ZF group booking link provided in your acceptance email.
Why isn't ZF sharing the resort/venue name and location publicly?
For the safety of speakers and attendees, we are not publicly disclosing the resort name or precise location. We ask that community members exercise discretion when sharing these details. Accepted attendees will receive all relevant information directly.
I'd like to bring my kid(s), what are the childcare options?
The resort offers two childcare options: The Kids Club and individualized babysitting services. View details including hours, fees, ages and requirements here.
When will the Zcon7 program be available?
ZF will begin announcing speakers and sessions closer to the event (late summer). As we did last year, the program will be created in cooperation with other engaged members in the ecosystem to ensure a diverse, collaborative, and engaging lineup here.
